Mastodon han anunciado una reedición de su magistral Crack The Skye con motivo de su 15 aniversario. Estará disponible en distintos formatos a partir del 4 de octubre e incluirá temas extras, un Blu Ray y material de memorabilia.
Crack The Skye, su cuarto álbum publicado originalmente en marzo de 2009, fue producido por Brendan O’Brien (Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine). El grupo lo definió como una historia en la que conviven la Rusia de los zares, los viajes astrales y las teorías de Stephen Hawking sobre los agujeros de gusano.
Esta reedición contiene el álbum original remasterizado y un segundo disco con versiones instrumentales. Las ediciones limitadas Deluxe incluyen también un BluRay y una portada nueva realizada por el diseñador habitual del grupo Paul Romano.
